The Madonna is portrayed by Luke in Christian art. Saint Luke is traditionally depicted as the author of the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles, and is not typically shown as the Madonna in Christian iconography. In the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Luke Skywalker is shown to have died in the film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
